Ballyfeeney Rock extracts a sandstone rock called greywacke. This greywacke has a high Polished Stone Value (PSV), meaning it is hardwearing, thereby making it ideal for producing chippings for County Councils for roadsurface dressing, where the surface needs to be durable and long lasting. Our chippings are also used in the making of asphalt. - 804 (1½” to dust)
